Michaux Mash results – Saturday

Some chose to forget that it’s road season and go participate in this 4-hour endurance mountain bike race organized by Zach Adams and Fast Forward Cycling. “I love seeing everyone come out to play on the rocks and their reactions to such a hard masochistic course….and then go out for lap after lap. It’s great, a really fun event” Adams said after the event.

Tour of the Battenkill results – Saturday

Several members of the Indiana Regional Medical Center (IRMC) and Pittsburgh Elite Velo/CAT Racing teams made the trip to upstate New York to participate in the American spring classic, along with something like 2000 other registrants. The guys put in some good performances, but it was Pittsburgh native Patty Buerkle who stole the show in the Women’s race to take 4th!

Mingo Creek #1 results – Sunday

Don Mosites and the sheriff, Gary Bywaters, conjured up some excellent spring racing on Sunday and lots of people turned out for “the Milan San Remo of Pittsburgh“. The 4/5 field, like last week, was maxed out again. Jason Zimmerman (Freddie Fu) took the 1/2/3 race by riding off the front at the end and was followed up by a fierce 3-way sprint for the remaining spots on the podium. Beware – serious imaginary yellow line rule breakage:
