Did you know that Pittsburgh has 4 cycling magazines?

In case you were in the dark, here are some links and descriptions.

XXC Magazine looks at the epic side of bike racing. It takes something awful and painful (6+++++ hours in the saddle) and makes it aesthetically pleasing with great photos and a great layout. AVAILABLE AS A FREE DOWNLOAD ON PDF!!!!!!!! Issue number two was just released, featuring a great write up from the famous Tinker Juarez.

An example of the eye candy that is XXC mag.

Urban Velo is exactly what it sounds like; a magazine dedicated to bike riding in the city. Being limited to the city does not eliminate racing though. Another fine publication with the right price on downloads… Free!

Bicycle Times mag is the new publication from the fine Dirt Rag folks. The theme seems to be all encompassing, allowing it to cover anything that has a passion for cycling.

Finally, Dirt Rag has gone from a photocopied zine to one of the largest Mountain Biking publications around. Dirt Rag is found in most book stores and bike shops. The site has great forums, online articles, links and resources.
