Saturday
-Bob Stumpf (Pitt) held solid for a 6th place in the 82 mile Penn State Eastern Conference Championship collegiate A race, earning him an invite to nationals. Carnegie Mellon can also be seen throughout the results.

-Pittsburgh showed good form at the Turkey Hill Cycling Classic
UPMC’s Skip Rogers grabbed a 3rd place in the masters men race, and Glenn Snyder got 15th.
Steevo Cummings (IRMC) made the split and getting 11th in the 1/2 race.
Craig Merritts (CAT) grabbed 9th in a full field of 3/4’s.

-Ag3r’s Brian Hopkins took 9th in the Cat 3 Wintergreen ascent in Virginia. Jeremiah Bishop broke the previous course record.

-Sinead has been racing a lot in France. There is a facebook rumor that she won something this weekend.
Sunday
-Locally, the Garys put on another excellent Quip city race.
Steve Bedillion (CAT) took the 1/2/3 win, and Frank Hersh took the 4/5’s. Lone woman racer Gray Patton held her own with the 4/5 men.

-Some may have seen Sheldon Ingram sporting a Freddie Fu kit at the marathon.

-Others stayed East for the Lower Providence crit. Brian Hoffman took 17th. Former Pittsburgher and now want to be New Yorker, John Minturn soled in for the win.
