Presque Isle TT, Carlisle TT
AG3R gives the local updates with lots of Pittsburgher’s competing in a clasic TT.
Collegiate
-Bob Stumpf pulls out a 5th place in the MIT Collegiate A road race.
Tour De Ephrata – A 3 stage race in Lancaster. Road Race, TT and a Crit.
-Dan Greene, now riding with Iron City, scores the 11th on GC, with a 7th in the Road Race in the 3/4 race.
-Craig Merritts (CAT racing) pulled in a 20th GC in the 3/4 race.
-Glenn Snyder (UPMC) got a 19th on GC in the 45+ race.
-Patty Buerkle (zaveta) got 5th GC with 2nd place in the ITT.
-Jared Babik (IRMC) squeezes out a 23rd on GC in the 1/2/3 race, but manages to make the 6 man break that lapped the field in the criterium.
-The 1/2/3 Road Race was 82 miles with a finishing time around 3 hours = 27.3333333 mph.
Greenbrier UCI C2 Mountain Bike Race, Maryland
- Zach Adams, an Eastern PA guy who has been going to Slippery Rock and racing some B oval races took the win in the Cat 1 Male 19-24 race.
- Dirty Harry’s rider Rob Spreng got 6th in the endurance men category.
Cohutta 100 100 mile mountain bike race, Cohutta GA
Speedgoat/SPK racer Gerry Pflug took the Win in the Single Speed category. His 7 hour 20 minute effort put him in the top 20 overall. A name mention on cyclingnews.com
